Founded in 1932, Gerber Plumbing Fixtures LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Union Group Inc. and is based just outside Chicago, IL.   Gerber is a leading manufacturer of high performance plumbing fixtures, faucets and fittings sold exclusively through professional wholesalers throughout the United States and Canada.

Gerber has a comprehensive residential product offering of vitreous china fixtures including toilets, lavatories and bidets; a full range of faucets for the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room; and is a leading supplier of bathtub drains.  Its complete commercial product line includes toilets, lavatories, urinals and service sinks as well as mechanical and electronic faucets and flush valves.  Gerber also has a complete line of high efficiency products that are WaterSense certified.

 

Main Duties:

 

• Coordinates and fulfills the programs, promotions and activities of the marketing department - essentially all brand related activities for North America.

• Supports the development and distribution of marketing brochures, sales kits, promotional materials and technical product literature.

• Manages and coordinates internal communications via print, email and web posting.

• Helps to design, obtain, distribute and maintain inventory of merchandising materials (product displays, signage, etc.).

• Manages the administration of co-op advertising program.

•  Assists in design and generation of regular management reports and periodic sales presentations.

• Maintains marketing materials and tools electronic library.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Must be a strong oral and written communicator with good interpersonal skills.

• Bright, analytical, and goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.

• A team player who can collaborate and build consensus within cross-functional areas.

• Flexibility to effectively work with others from different cultures, work habits and management styles.

• Must excel in working on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.

• Must be flexible and capable at adapting to change and dealing with uncertainty.

• Proven organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable and effective in working closely with others as well as unsupervised as needed.
