GERBER EXPANDS ITS MAXWELL® PRODUCT LINE WITH A NEW DUAL FLUSH HIGH EFFICIENCY TOILET
WOODRIDGE, IL (May 2009) – Gerber Plumbing Fixtures LLC unveils its latest high efficiency toilet (HET), the Maxwell® Dual Flush further expanding its line of water conserving products.
"We are excited to add this gravity dual flush HET toilet to our popular Maxwell family. More and more people are looking for ways to save our natural resources while saving money,” said Kevin McJoynt, director of marketing for Gerber. “The Maxwell Dual Flush accomplishes both of these goals while maintaining reliable Gerber performance.”
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), using a HET product (in place of a standard 1.6 gpf toilet model) can save a minimum of 20 percent in annual water usage. An average family of four can save up to 8,760 gallons of water each year!
Designed in an elongated front bowl, round front or ErgoHeight model, the Maxwell Dual Flush HET comes with a two-button actuator to clearly identify between the 1.1 and 1.6 gpf flushing options. The Maxwell toilet is engineered with a large water surface and Gerber’s syphonic front jet flushing action which properly cleans the bowl with a single flush. In addition, a fully glazed trapway contributes to this unit’s consistent flush performance.
Providing superior waste removal and bowl cleaning, the Maxwell Dual Flush HET is ideal for residential applications as well as high-traffic areas including schools, hotels and hospitals where water preservation and minimal maintenance are required.
Available summer 2009, Gerber’s Maxwell Dual Flush HET is offered in white and biscuit color options with 10-inch and 12-inch rough-ins. This product is also protected by a five-year warranty.
